Area Manager – Corporate Sales

Associate Director & Head - Group Business
Manager – Corporate Sales (1 Reportee )

Designated Territory
Independent management of a small city, or part of a large city.

Job Responsibilities
Acquiring new corporate clients for the company by selling group insurance solutions of Aviva

Servicing existing corporate clients and ensuring retention of client for Aviva

Deepening existing relationship with clients, i.e. ensuring incremental sales for Aviva from existing clients.

Increasing market share of Aviva with respect to group insurance sales in the designated territory

Market development and penetration

Key Performance Indicators
Business sourced vis-à-vis agreed business goals

%age retention of existing clients

%age growth in business sourced from existing clients

Market share of Aviva vis-à-vis competition with respect to group insurance sales in the designated territory

New towns / cities added to Aviva’s existing geographical reach, measured in terms of locations where Aviva has a representation for corporate sales by virtue of having at least one corporate client.

Desired Qualifications / Qualities
MBA in marketing or finance, from a premier institution, with 6 – 8 years of proven track record in corporate sales out of which the immediately preceding 2-3 years should have necessarily been in the financial services sector.
Non – MBAs with strong and relevant corporate sales experience of 10 – 12 yrs having additional financial qualifications from AMFI, NSE, IRDA or ICFAI
